Behaviour Detectives - The Cat That Peed In The Night

14 Nov 2019
Gallery Suite 12

Feline toileting problems are a common cause of distress to owners, and if severe can be a reason for cats to be rehomed or euthanased. There are many different reasons why cats may toilet outside of the litter tray/around the house and identifying the particular reasons why a cat is doing this in each case is key to successful resolution of the problem behaviour. Using a case-based format this talk will explore the main reasons why cats might choose to urinate outside the litter tray/around the house, and strategies for resolving this problem.
