Top tips for medicines – best practice and effective use

Whether you visit a herd of pigs or an individual animal, the choice of treatments available once you have made your diagnosis is wide and varied. With the current emphasis on responsible use of antibiotics in farm animal medicine, why not break down that decision making to the basics to ensure the most appropriate choice is made from the antibiotic armoury, along with non-antimicrobial treatments. This will aim to give the most effective result for the animal, utilise best practice and allow an easy practical solution in the field.
