It will cover the management of horses with arrhythmias or murmurs, the impact of your diagnosis on performance and prognosis, the available treatment options and what diagnostic and treatment options available in the near future.

  • 1. The importance of accurate auscultation and investigation in the field.
  • 2. Understand the impact of murmurs and arrhythmias on performance and prognosis.
  • 3. Understand the current treatment options for atrial fibrillation and what to do if cardioversion isn't an option.
  • 4. Be aware of the advances in diagnostic techniques and future treatment options for equine cardiac diseases.
