Reflux and regurgitation are common complications in dog and cat anaesthetics. Clinical sequelae include oesophagitis, post-operative pain, oesophageal strictures, laryngospasm, and aspiration pneumonia. This presentation will look at how to identify, prevent and manage reflux and regurgitation in general practice anaesthesia.
