This presentation will be of interest to vets, nurses, physiotherapists and rehabilitation practitioners who manage back pain in dogs. The session will initially cover the common causes of back pain in dogs, and the indications for surgical versus medical management. For surgical cases, a showcase of advances in the fields of minimally invasive techniques and spinal fixation will be made. Discussion of how flat panel C-arm fluoroscopy, with DR capability, can assist the surgeon in the management of these cases.
