Creating a circular veterinary profession
Since the pandemic, the global economy has become less circular. Products are being produced, used once, and then discarded, creating a linear system of waste. In this lecture, we will explore the hierarchy of circularity and how applying these principles can help create a more sustainable and circular veterinary industry.
If we continue producing and using plastic at our current rate, by 2050 there could be more plastic in the oceans than fish. To prevent this, the entire veterinary industry needs to recalibrate and adopt a more circular mindset. By doing so, we can reduce waste, conserve resources, and protect the environment for future generations.
