How can we better support racial and ethnic diversity in the veterinary professions and higher education? Is a more proactive approach needed? This session welcomes contributions from current students and encourages those mentoring the next generation of vets & nurses. This session builds on previous work to identify current barriers and support needs of Black, Asian, & minority ethnic (BAME) students. We will ask participants of this BVEDS community mastermind for their views, suggestions and support in implementing guidance for placement providers and higher education institutions.
