This talk shall focus primarily on the accurate diagnosis and management of two of the most common causes of hindlimb lameness and poor performance; proximal suspensory desmitis (PSD) and distal tarsal osteoarthritis (OA). In addition, stifle meniscal tears shall be briefly discussed.

To feel confident on how to accurately diagnosis a horse with hindlimb PSD as well as subsequent treatment of this condition.
To be aware of the variety of treatment options available for distal tarsal OA.
To feel confident on the diagnostic approach and treatment options available for stifle meniscal tears.
