The wide range of options in the types of food available has made discussions about appropriate diet choices for cats and dogs a complicated and sometimes contentious process. Join Sally Everitt, who recently chaired the BVA’s Companion Animal Feeding Working Group, Georgia Woods-Lee of the Royal Canin Weight Management Clinic, University of Liverpool, and Jo White, Co-Director, Human Behaviour Change for Life (HBCL) to discuss how we can talk to clients about feeding their pets, what evidence we do (and do not have), and some of the potential risks and benefits of different types of diets for pets.
