Lead with confidence
Last year at our LVS Community Mastermind, we talked to our group - new and old - about what they wanted.
Many of our new members, and those who came along to investigate the hiking group having just learnt about us, were nervous of exploring the beauty of the countryside because they were not confident in navigation.
This year, to help with this we have run a Navigation Event in the Brecon Beacons (June 2024), helping our community gain the basic confidence to get out with their map and compass and try to not get lost... but now we are bringing a whistle stop nav guide to LVS!
Learning Outcomes
Come along if you want to get out more, both locally or travelling further afield, to learn the ropes of basic navigation to keep you safe when out hiking on your own or in company. Remember, even the most experienced people get lost, the most important thing is recognising you have gone wrong early so you can get back on track and get back safely!
We can't wait to meet everyone, and if you are an experienced navigator, please feel free to come along to help us share your top tips for navigating! Getting outdoors is brilliant for our physical and mental health. Let's go exploring!
