Including a look at some of the challenges faced by clinical teams when devising feeding orders, we’ll also discuss the reasons that nutrition is sometimes overlooked. We’ll cover when, how and who to feed for best outcomes, take an in-depth look at feeding regimes around routine surgical procedures and discover why any old ‘bland’ diet simply isn’t good enough to support ideal recovery, even after the simplest of surgeries.
