Taking the line of least resistance: Central line placement

Many emergency and critical care patients require vascular access for a number or reasons such as fluid therapy, administration of medication and frequent blood sampling. This session will look at central venous access and the options available to the veterinary team. It will also cover how to manage these lines, troubleshoot common complications and monitor the patient.
