We often hear that your veterinary degree and licence to practice can be the ‘passport’ to a squiggly career abroad. What does this actually mean though and what are the practical elements of registering with a licensing authority or regulator abroad, getting a work visa and the logistics around relocation and setting up life in a different country? Our panellists bring many years of experience using their veterinary degree to travel the world, working in foreign countries and dealing with the challenges of recruiting vets in other countries. You’ll hear practical tips, plus pitfalls to watch out for if you dream of making the most of your veterinary passport abroad.
