We've all experienced situations where someone says the wrong thing, leaving us unsure how to respond. This session will explore the impact of challenging behaviors and discrimination on individuals and the workplace using real-life examples. Experienced facilitators will guide participants in understanding different forms of discrimination and developing effective strategies for addressing such incidents.
- Deepen understanding of various forms of discrimination.
- Develop effective strategies for addressing incidents of discrimination and challenging behaviors.
- Learn to promote allyship and create a safe, inclusive environment through small actions.
- Understand how thoughtful workplace adjustments (e.g., accessible facilities, flexible schedules) foster a more equitable environment.
- Reflect on and implement human-centered strategies to foster psychological safety in the workplace.
