This cadaver practical will take you through how to perform a meshed skin graft in a step-by-step manor. We will work through the procedure including, preparing the recipient site, raising the donor site, preparing the graft, placing the graft and how to manage the patient post-operatively to maximise good outcomes. We will also go through placing punch or strip grafts. The practical will give you the chance to practice these advanced techniques under the guidance of Lynda, a ECVS and RCVS recognised specialist in small animal surgery. You will also have lots of opportunity to ask questions about your techniques. It won’t be hard graft; we will make skin grafts simple!
