The purpose of this session is to provide some useful information for vets in farm or mixed practice who will be seeing pigs, but aren't working in a pig specialist environment. Some of these pigs may be commercial, but many will be smallholders, pedigree show animals or pets. Despite the diverse range of settings we are still talking about the same animal and a few basic ideas will help you engage with these clients, foster a relationship and be able to provide a good level of veterinary care.
