Building on the success of last year's session, this presentation is primarily aimed at providing an approachable point of contact with the VMD and explaining more about what we do, so that veterinary professionals can feel more supported by this vital regulator.
Following last year's update to the Veterinary Medicines Regulations, and given the ongoing scrutiny of the veterinary sector, this session also aims to empower practitioners in their everyday prescribing decisions. Particular focus will be placed on clarifying the often misrepresented principles of the prescribing cascade.
