Food for Thought
Nutrition

Together we will explore the most common confusion points our clients have around pet nutrition. We'll also put recent trends in pet nutrition under the lens, examining the evidence base for some claims we see in the pet food market. Whether it's strong views on raw feeding, vegan diets, meat and animal derivatives, kibble as junk food, the list goes on. And the topics can be divisive. This session will help you to help your clients understand pet nutrition better. And to sort the valuable, evidence based claims from the wild marketing landscape we all face which sometimes throws the veterinary profession under the proverbial bus. You'll be invited to share your real life cases and conundrums. It's not to be missed.

  • Learn how to counter pet nutrition myths without ostracising your clients.
  • Gain valuable evidence to give you credibility when talking about new trends in pet nutrition.
  • Become confident in giving nutrition advice for a range of pet health problems.
  • Learn what marketing claims are bogus and how to address them in practice.
