Registered Veterinary Nurses play an essential role in promoting and delivering high-quality dental care. This session explores the RVN's contribution from nurse-led dental health clinics and owner education through to supporting dental procedures. We will cover how to perform an effective dental health check, communicate the importance of preventive care, and maximise client compliance. The talk will also discuss the RVN's role during dental examinations, radiography, and professional cleaning, while clarifying the legal and professional scope of practice.
