A continuation of the three tier structure approach for haematological assessment as outlined in the previous red cell focussed lecture. A review of white cell automated counts paying particular attention to when ProCyte Dx flags any results provided. A close assessment of the dot plot providing navigation and hints and tips for evaluation of the dot plot and the common abnormalities seen. Some cases examples of the additional information given when ProCyte Dx is used in association with the inVue for white cell evaluation. As for the previous session this lecture will be orientated around a series of clinical cases.
