"This is the greatest show"

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: 24th November 2022 – The London Vet Show returned to the ExCeL for two action-packed days of CPD-accredited veterinary education and networking on 17 and 18 November 2022. The event, visited by more than 5,200+ delegates, 300+ speakers and 320+ exhibitors, is being hailed as one of the best edition to date.

“We’ve been blown away by the feedback to the London Vet Show 2022. Every year, we set out to deliver the best event yet however everyone that attended this year can attest to the fact it was incredibly special,“ said Harry Norman, Event Director of the London Vet Show. “I’m extremely grateful and honoured that so many vet professionals and suppliers to the industry chose this show as their platform to come together.”

“It’s been a tough few years for businesses, practices and staff, and although we anticipated a busy show, we were overwhelmed with the positive response from both exhibitors and delegates. The ambience in the hall, interactions in the theatres and the amount of business being done on the stands indicates the event is back to it’s best. No matter happens in the world, it’s fantastic to know that this profession will always have two days every Autumn to come together and focus purely on themselves. I even heard some delegates calling it Disneyland for vet professionals. Although it must be noted that none of this would be possible without the continued support of our headline education partners the RVC and BVA so a huge thank you to their teams.”

As well has hosting the popular clinical, political and careers content, the conference programme for 2022 was one of the most ambitious to date with unique offerings and new features and 28 streams.

We are so grateful to have the RVC and BVA, and partners like IDEXX and IVC Evidensia that deliver amazing sessions that will always attract a crowd,” Said Charlotte Ellicott, Head of Content and Marketing for the Vet Shows, “But this year, we also wanted to focus on some cross-sections of the veterinary community to ensure we were catering for all types. So huge thank you to all the speakers and content providers who joined us for the first time in 2022.  StreetVet, the VMD, RAMP, FAB Clinicans, and all those who hosted a meet-up in the Alumni & Community Zone – well done and thank you! Finally, the addition of wet labs proved incredibly popular– so a huge thank you to Central CPD for helping us deliver these! We hope all our new partners will be back in 2023!"

A highlight for many at the London Was Vet Show was another new addition– the Vet Show 30 Under Thirty. The ambitious alumni of vet professionals, who were awarded their places in September, met for the first time at the London Vet Show, and participated in a presentation ceremony and unique networking opportunities.

“The 30 Under Thirty presentation ceremony was really special” continued Ellicott. “The energy in the theatre was electric. Being in the same room as these up-and-comers was amazing so thanks to Pioneer Veterinary Products for helping us to found this initiative.”

Feedback from delegates and exhibitor alike has been hugely positive – with businesses reported two successful days of business and networking.

“We’ve been at London Vet Show since the start, and this year’s event was one of the very best. The stand was busy right throughout the event. Our presence had already paid for itself by the lunch time of day one and it has just kept on going” Mark Ware, Operations Director at PHL Medical.

“The London Vet Show is back on 16-17 November 2023 at the ExCeL. However for those who can’t wait a whole year for another Vet Show. My team and I will be back with BVA Live – taking place on 11-12 May at the NEC Birmingham. Tickets are on sale now – we’ll see you there!” Said Norman.
