casebook.vet is open for early access.

casebook.vet is open for early access.  The new platform lets the veterinary profession share real cases, get second opinions from verified colleagues and build CPD time as they go. Its free for vets, vet nurses and vet students.

casebook.vet is a new peer-to-peer platform for the veterinary profession and has opened for early access to vets, vet nurses and vet students. It gives members a place to share real cases, hear how colleagues would approach them and build CPD time as they take part.

Unlike an open forum, every member is verified before they can post or reply. A question about a tricky case is answered by qualified colleagues, whether they work in first opinion practice, nursing or a specialist field.

Many clinical questions have more than one reasonable answer, and casebook.vet is built around that. Members can post a full case or start a quicker clinical chat, then weigh up the approaches colleagues suggest and decide what fits their own patient. Recent discussions have covered FGF-23 testing in feline chronic kidney disease, diet for a hard-to-control diabetic dog and breakthrough seizures in an epileptic terrier.

Alongside colleague replies, an AI summary brings the discussion together and lists the research it used, so members can check the evidence for themselves. Posting and commenting also builds CPD time, which the platform makes easy to log.

Key features

  • Second opinions from verified colleagues. Post a case or question and get input from a network of verified veterinary professionals.
  • A place for more than one right answer. See different approaches side by side and decide what fits your patient.
  • Build CPD time as you go. Posting and commenting count towards CPD, and the platform makes it easier to log.
  • AI summaries alongside colleague replies. Each summary lists the research it used, so members can check the evidence for themselves.

Early access is open now at casebook.vet. and come and visit us on stand B09 at the London Vet Show.

"Vets and vet nurses learn so much from talking cases through with colleagues, but busy clinics and solo shifts don't always allow it. casebook.vet brings that conversation online, with people you know are qualified. You don't have to work through every case alone."

Katy Parker, founder, casebook.vet

"casebook.vet is a brilliant showcase of how collaborative and kind the profession is. A safe space to ask questions, to gently challenge, and to learn. A resource we've needed for a long time!"
