Central CPD Wet Labs Return with Fresh Sessions and Extended Formats!
)
Wet Labs offer a fantastic hands-on learning experience, enabling participants to practise surgical and diagnostic techniques on specimens in a controlled, supervised environment. This practical, experiential learning complements the theoretical knowledge gained from lectures and seminars, providing attendees with a comprehensive educational experience.
This year, the hands-on sessions, delivered by Central CPD, will be offered in both 90-minute and newly introduced 4-hour formats, providing participants with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience.
The programme has been intently curated with relevant and current topics valuable to both practising veterinarians and nurses. These include essential skills such as central line placement, fracture repair techniques, lateral suture anaesthesia methods, anal sacculectomy procedures, and TECA (total ear canal ablation) surgeries.
Participants will get the chance to work directly with veterinary specialists and leading experts like James Rushton, Elle Haskey, Lisa Angell, Dr Stefano Cortellini, and Prof Nick Bacon, gaining first-hand experience and mentorship alongside other professionals in the field.
Last year's workshops garnered excellent feedback from participants. One attendee noted, "It significantly boosted my confidence and alleviated some of my fears." Another praised the workshop's well-organised structure and personalised support, stating, "The format was excellent, and the individualised assistance was superb. I now feel much more confident about applying what I've learned."
Spaces are limited, so it's recommended that delegates book in advance! You have the option to reserve multiple sessions scheduled throughout each day of the show, and booking early ensures your place in a diverse range of sessions designed to enrich your experience and expand your knowledge throughout the event's schedule.
