Community Masterminds are back at the London Vet Show 2024!

The importance of community in the veterinary industry

"There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about." – Margaret J. Wheatley

A thriving community is more than just a group of individuals - it is a living, breathing body shaped by shared values, collective efforts, and a deep sense of belonging. In the veterinary industry, the community aspect can often be overlooked, despite the profession being inherently a community itself. A sense of belonging strengthens the profession, improves animal care, and enhances the careers and well-being of veterinary professionals.

As one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the veterinary calendar, the London Vet Show brings together thousands of professionals to share their time, talents, and ideas, helping their profession thrive. On 14-15 November, we celebrate this spirit by encouraging vets to debate issues they’re facing, support and encourage one another, and celebrate triumphs in a welcoming environment. That's why we're delighted to announce that...

Community Masterminds are back at the London Vet Show 2024!

Community Masterminds are a dedicated space for groups and communities to gather live, engage in discussions, and discuss issues specific to their interests, all within a safe and inclusive environment.

Sessions range in formats, some depending on the subject, may run conversationally, simply giving a much-needed space for a community to come together. In others, a facilitator will kick off the session, outlining the goals and discussion topics. You and your peers will then have 45-60 minutes to discuss the topic, wrapping up with a summary of the outcomes to take away. Additionally, there will be extended time after the official session for mingling and networking

What’s in store?
