In a first for LVS, Zoetis has created a theatre on its stand (L20) to host the popular Skinsights Learning Academy. Delegates will be able to hear the latest information on game-changing therapeutics and gain FREE CPD from the dermatology market leaders in a small, informal group setting.
Featuring fast, focused and informative presentations and workshops, the bite-sized interactive sessions are being held on both days of the show. Each topic will be delivered by industry experts including Emily Robson, Filippo De Bellis, Evelyn Maniaki, Ian Wright, Jill Maddison and Sarah Warren.
Designed to showcase best practice, work-ups, effective protocols and insightful case-studies, the Skinsights Learning Academy will help attendees grow their knowledge, skills and business in dermatology. Subjects covered will include: what to do when faced with a pruritic dog, interactive dermatology case based discussions; what to prescribe and when; the changing face of pet parasites in the UK and their prevention; and why good medicine leads to good business
Laura Jenkins, Zoetis companion animal marketing manager comments: “The Skinsights Academies have increased in popularity since their inception as vets have valued the opportunity to learn with a specialist in a small interactive group. We have enhanced the format each year and achieved an industry first this year by hosting the CPD theatre on our stand. This will enable vets to gain direct access to leading experts as well as the Zoetis dermatology portfolio - including Apoquel, Cytopoint, Simparica and Stronghold Plus.”
Running from 11.15 am to 3.40 pm on each day of the show and featuring seven 25 minute presentations, the sessions are limited to groups of 24. To register for your free place, click here www.zoetis.co.uk/LVS2018 .
Places are expected to fill quickly so book early to avoid disappointment. To cater for those who are unable to secure a seat, Zoetis is also providing headphone sets that vets can wear to listen to the lectures while on the stand.
Established two years ago, Zoetis’ Skinsights Academies provide an invaluable learning opportunity for vets interested in improving the outcomes for thousands of pets needing dermatological care. Those vets attending the Academies can also sign up to receive a regular bulletin on the latest developments in dermatology.
