The London Vet Show Class of 2023.
The Vet Shows are delighted to the 2023 Vet Show 30 Under Thirty alumni.
The initiative, which was founded last year in partnership with the London Vet Show and Pioneer Veterinary Products teams, aims to create and elevate tomorrow’s veterinary leaders by giving them a chance to attend networking events, creating a forum for discussion and collaboration and contribute to other industry-wide initiatives.
The judging panel, Jill Maddison, Professor of General Practice, Royal Veterinary College, Clive Groombridge, Managing Director of Pioneer Veterinary Products, Peter Wright Media figure: The Yorkshire Vet Rory Cowlam TV Vet & Author, Louise Northway CertVNECC, NCert (Anaesth), RVN, were joined by 2022 30 Under Thirty alumni Molly Fiander RVN CERTVNECC, Director of Management for Locums and Director of Molymed Supplies to name this year’s thirty.
Once more, judging and naming the thirty was incredibly difficult, with the sheer amount of remarkable and inspiring nominations.
Harry Norman, Event Director of the London Vet Show observed the sheer amount of talent the initiative received again this year, “It is incredible to see that only in its second year, the number of people that were nominated for this year’s 30 Under Thirty. As a profession, we do have challenges to overcome, but nothing gives more confidence that the profession will continue to thrive and overcome these than seeing how many gifted, driven, and talented are coming through, as well as the ideas and actions created by the class of 2022. It is clear to see that the future is in a safe pair of hands!”
Congratulating the new Class of 2023, Clive Groombridge, Managing Director of Pioneer Veterinary Products, added, “Congratulations to the 2023 VS30 winners! We’re delighted to continue our support to the next 30 Under Thirty cohort and we are very much looking forward to meeting you all at LVS in November at the awards ceremony. We’ve achieved so much with the class of 2022 already and with the new class of 2023 joining this great initiative, we’re starting to build a strong network of veterinary professionals who strive for excellence and who want to make a positive impact on our industry. It’s a privilege to be working with such talented individuals and we look forward to building on our Innovation Community sessions in 2024”
New judge Molly Fiander spoke to us about her journey from Class of 2022 to judge and her excitement about the Class of 2023, “Becoming a judge for the new 30U30 cohort was both an incredible privilege and a challenging task. The sheer amount of talent and dedication among the candidates was nothing short of awe-inspiring. It was a heartwarming experience to read the incredible nominations and I am SO happy there were lots of self-nominations too, people backing themselves and releasing their amazing talent! Now as the 30U30 ambassador, it is all about celebrating the bright futures of these remarkable individuals!”
The Class of 2023 will join the judges, to be officially inducted at the London Vet Show in a unique ceremony, taking place at 5:00 PM on Thursday 16th November, alongside the debuting 2022 cohort accompanied by their invited guests, family, and friends.
