Love to Walk and Hike? Join Veterinary Voices on two adventures!
Veterinary Voices Hiking Group
Hiking involves being outdoors, social interaction and exercise - all of which improve mental and physical health.
This year we're aiming to:
1) Collectively walk 10,000km during 2022
2) Organise group hiking challenges
3) Encourage local veterinary professionals to reach out and post local walks and meet ups to improve isolation and forge friendships and connections
May 16-19th First Aid Training (in the hills) - Lake District.
Note we have booked a first aid company so they will get a certificate and have booked accommodation so all the team are together which is a lake District camping barn. Price is £250pp for a first aid training day and three nights accommodation. This price could be classed as extra training from the more progressive company as it is first aid (but not in the workplace), so see what you think! It is still ridiculously cheap for First Aid Training and Three night stay!
- Thursday Night Arrival Friday Breakfast and First Aid Theory then off for a hike to put these into practice
- Saturday, hiking
- Sunday, home or onward travel
- (only 10 places available so please do get in touch if you want to come)
June 21-23rd - Brecon Beacons

- Friday - navigation training and hiking
- Saturday - hiking
- Sunday - home and onward travel
