AnatomyStuff is proud to present Cetra for Vets – a new innovative software designed to enhance post-clinic patient care through improved client education.
Pet owner education forms an integral part of veterinary treatment. As you know, veterinary professionals are often tasked with cramming many years' worth of medical knowledge and experience into a slice of a 10-minute consultation. This information must be thorough yet concise, technical but easy to understand, up-to-date, and evidence-based.
Up to 80% of medical information given during a consultation will immediately be forgotten by the client. This may increase during emotive situations or for those clients with a poorer medical understanding. Following consultation, a concerned client will often then turn to the internet, breeder, or family and friends for further information on their pet’s condition, leading to a high risk of misinformation and advice that may contradict your treatment plan.
Cetra for Vets is designed to mitigate the risk of owner misinformation, through the provision of evidence-based, peer-reviewed handouts; beautifully illustrated and written in plain language to maximise client engagement. With a growing database of conditions, how-to guides, surgical procedures, and anatomical diagrams, Cetra can be used seamlessly alongside your consultation, and can be shared to your clients with ease. Cetra handouts are written by veterinary professionals, and meticulously reviewed by an expert panel of Vets and RVNs.
