QMS Veterinary expands X-ray Equipment Range
An Engineering-Led Approach to Equipment Selection
When adding new equipment to their portfolio, QMS Veterinary places considerable importance on the quality, reliability and ongoing serviceability of the equipment it supplies.
Its relationship with GER International introduces a range of purpose-built veterinary X-ray equipment, including the VET-TECH 300HF Advanced digital radiography system and DR4343 detector upgrade solution, perfect for practices who currently have working generators and want to upgrade to DR from CR. Both solutions are available with Picoxia AI software.
Manufactured in France, the GER range provides options for practices investing in a complete new X-ray system, as well as those looking to modernise suitable existing equipment.
For QMS, the ability to offer both approaches is important. Not every practice requires an entirely new installation, and upgrading existing equipment can sometimes provide a more practical and cost-effective solution.
By assessing each customer's requirements individually, QMS aims to recommend equipment that offers the right balance of clinical performance, reliability and long-term value.
Technical Support at the Heart of the Business
As an engineering-led company, QMS recognises that the quality of equipment is only one part of a successful investment.
Equipment downtime can have a significant impact on veterinary practices, making dependable maintenance, access to technical expertise and responsive customer service essential.
QMS Veterinary provides ongoing support through its experienced engineering team, including preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs.
To complement the GER partnership, members of the QMS team have undertaken technical and applications training with the manufacturer in France, developing their knowledge of the systems and ensuring customers benefit from informed support.
Trevor Howard, Managing Director of QMS, commented:
"Our background is in engineering, and that has always influenced the way we operate. We believe in supplying good-quality, reliable equipment at a fair price, but equally important is the service and support that comes with it.
We want to understand the equipment we supply, know how to maintain it and be there for our customers when they need us. That is why developing strong relationships with manufacturers such as GER is important to us.
Our aim is to build long-term relationships with veterinary practices, based on trust, honest advice and doing what we say we will do."
Supporting Veterinary Imaging Across the UK
Alongside its developing X-ray range, QMS is the official veterinary distributor for Canon Medical Systems UK, supplying ultrasound, CT and MRI equipment to first-opinion practices and specialist referral hospitals.
The company also provides equipment maintenance, repairs, rentals and training.
With experience across multiple imaging modalities, QMS is able to assist customers with both new equipment and the continued support of existing systems.
As QMS Veterinary continues to grow, its focus remains on maintaining the engineering expertise, personal service and long-term customer relationships on which the business has been built.
