Before VetThing was even a ‘thing’, we had a vision of building the strongest possible veterinary community. For pets, people and practices.
365 days isn’t very long. But that vision is already feeling very real.
In our first year, we’ve welcomed 233 colleagues across 8 member practices and 13 locations. We’re incredibly proud of that growth. But for us, success has never simply been about adding more practices or getting bigger.
It’s about growing in the right way.
That means protecting what makes every one of our great practices, well, great.
Their people. Their personality. Their relationships. Their local knowledge. The things that have taken years to build and can’t simply be recreated.
What does it mean to be part of VetThing?
We believe there’s a way to get the benefits of being part of something bigger, without making great independent-minded practices all look and feel the same.
So being part of VetThing starts with keeping decisions close to the people who know their practices best. Day-to-day and clinical decisions stay with local teams, while VetThing provides additional support, expertise, investment and resources behind the scenes.
That might mean helping fund new diagnostic equipment or practice expansion. It might mean giving teams access to a wider network of experience and knowledge. Or it might mean creating new opportunities for owners and future leaders to remain invested

even more ambition for what comes next.
