Unleashed by Purina’s Accelerator Lab to Showcase Innovative Petcare Startups at Anivators

Innovation will take centre stage at Anivators on 19 November, when some of the most promising startups in animal health go head-to-head in a high-energy pitch competition. Powered by the Unleashed by Purina Accelerator Lab, the event will see founders battle the clock with just five minutes to present their pioneering ideas, followed by questions from an expert panel of judges.
The Unleashed by Purina’s Accelerator Lab, supported by 130 years of Purina history and research and development, is the startup partner of choice. It supports startups with disruptive technologies that make pet ownership more seamless and joyful, while also enhancing care delivery by veterinarians and pet professionals.
Unleashed has been honoured by London Vet Show’s invitation to bring selected industry-leading Gen-AI enabled vet tech startups from around the world to pitch solutions shaping the future of animal health. From supporting veterinarians in diagnostics and workflow automation to enhancing client communication and delivering personalised pet care, these solutions will not only improve clinic productivity, but will free up vets’ time to better deliver exceptional care.
The cohort of pitching startups will include:
- AI for Pet: The pet health technology company using advanced vision AI to transform simple smartphone images and videos into powerful, real-time health insights
- knok: The digital health company whose smart technology platform optimises the patient journey - from triage and scheduling to video consultations, care coordination, and continuity of care
- Management for Locums: A dedicated platform built for freelance veterinary professionals, offering secure document storage, automated invoice and contract templates, compliance reminders, booking tools, and educational resources
- Manta Technologies: The first AI-powered voice assistant purpose-built for answering veterinary practices’ inbound calls 24/7. It then identifies the caller’s intent, resolves the request, or routes the conversation to the right team member in the clinic
- sylvester.ai: The predictive AI tool that visually assesses pet pictures and videos in real time to give animal caregivers validated, immediate veterinary feedback, triggering owners to take appropriate action for their pet’s welfare
- VEA: The advanced system integrating patient data with AI to automate notes and diagnostics, streamining diagnotisic suggestions and customising treatment plans for wellness, prevention, and therapeutic care
- AITEM: The AI-powered veterinary companion, LAIKA, designed to analyse uploaded test results, defining differential diagnoses, and providing seamless interaction and support through natural, conversation chat
- Dsruptive Subdermals: The organisation using NFC-enabled chip implants to provide real-time health monitoring for pets, integrating temperature monitoring and other health data tracking
This year’s Anivators will also host a state of the nation address, setting the scene with insights into the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities across animal health. Themes across the event will include how artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing veterinary care and clinical outcomes, alongside other transformative technologies for practice and pet owners alike.
The momentum continues at the Unleashed, Purina Proplan, and the Purina Institute stands at the London Vet Show. These three stands will bring all the innovation supported by Purina to life.
