Adam is an internal medicine diplomat and Specialist of the RCVS and ECVIM, a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and Higher Education Authority. He has clinical and research interests in hepatology, endocrinology and point of care testing. He has extensively published papers and book chapters as well as lectured internationally on these areas. In 2020, he was awarded the BSAVA Woodrow award for contributions to the advancement of small animal medicine. Adam was Head of Small Animal Internal Medicine at The University of Edinburgh for six years and is currently the Clinical Lead of the Zoetis Global Consultation Service, advising practitioners worldwide on challenging cases.
