An RCVS Recognised Specialist in ECC. Roles have included head of ECC for hospitals and out-of-hours provision to 50+ sites around London until 2017. Introducing and growing ECC for a large hospital, acting as clinical board chair and Vice chair of a groups clinical advisory committee supporting 400 general practices followed by ECC lead for an established centre and subject matter expert to the groups clinical board. He is ECC representative to the RCVS Practice Standards Group. Volunteering as an advisor for best practice guidelines for incidents involving animals and the UK emergency services via BARTA. Awarded FRCVS in 2022 for contributions to clinical practice and appointed Executive Director for EVECC congress on behalf of EVECCS, ECVECC and VECCUS. He is the Chief Medical and Development Director (International) BSA Animal Blood Bank and Honorary Lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College within the ECC Service of the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals.
