Alison qualified from Liverpool University in 1987. She has spent most of her career working in charity practice at the SPCA in Hong Kong and Blue Cross in London. Her current role is Head of Veterinary Standards at Blue Cross, a role which includes defining the scope of service for the veterinary care delivered by the charity to both client-owned pets and those pets undergoing rehoming, plus overseeing the creation and updating of the charity’s library of welfare-focused, evidence-based and cost-limited clinical guidelines.
