Ana graduated as a VN in 2012 in Portugal, where she worked for five years in a Small Animal Hospital. In 2015, she completed her Nurse Certificate in Physiotherapy and in 2017 moved to the UK. After working at the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital of Cambridge, in 2019 Ana joined the Queen’s Mother Hospital for Animals anaesthesia team. She obtained her Nurse Certificate in Anaesthesia in the same year, and she is currently studying for the Pg CertAVN in Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the RVC. She is also a board member of the Portuguese Veterinary Nursing Association.
