Andrew Whitfield-Roberts – RVN, DipNCS (RVN Cons),Cert NCS (RVN Cons), CertNCS (VPM), NCert (Physio)
Andrew began his veterinary nursing journey in 2008 in Shropshire, studying at Rodbaston College where he achieved his VCA and ANA qualifications. He went on to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2015. Since then, Andrew has held a variety of leadership roles, including Head Nurse, Senior Nurse, Clinical Director (mat cover ) and Practice Manager. He currently serves as Head Nurse at White Cross Vets.
Andrew has pursued continued professional development throughout his career, completing a BSAVA Merit Award in Wound Management, a Diploma and Certificate in Veterinary Nurse Consulting DipNCS (RVN Cons) &Cert NCS (RVN Cons), a Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management CertNCS (VPM), and a Nursing Certificate in Physiotherapy NCert (Physio).
He is passionate about education and professional development, particularly the evolving role of RVNs. He is committed to empowering veterinary nurses to work to their full potential and is a proud representative of male veterinary nurses, noting the growing diversity in the field since he first entered the profession.
In addition to his clinical and leadership work, Andrew is a trained volunteer listener at Samaritans, a volunteer director and JVP for the Veterinary Management Group (VMG) , and a trustee of Dachshund Health.
