Angharad joined the RCVS as Director for Advancement of the Professions in January 2021, with the responsibility for leading a number of College projects founded for benefit of the professions including the Mind Matters Initiative, the RCVS Fellowship, Sustainability, Leadership, Workforce and Diversity & Inclusion. She was previously Head of Partnerships and Head of Congress at the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA). During her time at BSAVA she was most known for driving sustainability and diversity projects through Congress and across the BSAVA as well as supporting a range of veterinary initiatives in this space such as Paddle Against Plastic, Learning Without Landfill, Vetlife and the British Ethnicity & Diversity Society (BVEDS). Prior to BSAVA she had experience of PR, communications and strategic planning across the agricultural and veterinary sector. In all her work she has made it her mission to bring people together to share ideas, challenges and solutions. Her hobbies include baking, reading and spending time in nature.
