Dr Ben Hanning is Chief Executive Officer of VetThing, the UK veterinary group launched by pan-European operator Vetopia. A Cambridge-qualified veterinarian and experienced healthcare executive, he spent several years in clinical practice before moving into senior leadership roles across major veterinary and dental groups before founding VetThing in 2025. Ben is passionate about building a better future for the profession. He has created a partnership model that enables practice founders to remain local leaders while benefiting from the support and scale of a wider European network.
