Following completion of an internship, a large animal internal medicine and an emergency and critical care residency in the USA, Bettina attained a PhD in equine platelet and neutrophil biology from the University London. Bettina has been employed at the Royal Veterinary College since 2008 and is now Professor in Equine Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care and Head of RVC Equine. Bettina’s research focuses on equine platelets, coagulation and topics related to Equine critical care.
