Following completion of an internship, a large animal internal medicine and an emergency and critical care residency, Bettina attained a PhD in equine platelet and neutrophil biology from the University London. Bettina has been employed at the Royal Veterinary College since 2008 and is now Associate Professor in Equine Medicine and Head of RVC Equine. Bettina’s research focuses on equine platelets, coagulation and topics related to critical care in horses of all ages.
