Robert is an RCVS specialist vet, with a PhD using AI and machine learning to improve animal welfare. As an Associate Professor in computational biology at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, Bobby develops computer vision AI algorithms to see what animals are doing, and where they're doing it, to allow 24/7 insights into animal behaviour that aim to fundamentally change how we operate as vets. To translate this research into practical outcomes, Bobby has co-founded the spin-out company Vet Vision AI, which currently provides computer vision AI monitoring to farms within several dairy supply chains, as well as across hundreds of equine stables across the country.
