With initial experience of 15 years in small animal first opinion practice, then a move into veterinary education, and 3 years as an 'extra mature' PhD student, Carol is now Principal Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing at Hartpury University, enthusiastically championing and delivering postgraduate veterinary nurse education, and is obsessed with all things related to informed consent and shared decision-making. She is part of the Veterinary Humanities UK group which has been 'banging the drum' for contextualised care since 2021.
