Christine graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011 and spent several years as a clinical small animal vet before moving into academia. She completed an MPhil in Musculoskeletal Biology at the University of Liverpool and in 2025 completed her PhD, researching biomarkers of ageing in pet cats as part of the Cat Prospective Ageing and Welfare Study. Christine now divides her time between her role as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Liverpool, where she continues her work on feline ageing, and her clinical work for the RSPCA in Manchester.
