Claire qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018 and spent two years working in pig practice. She then completed her PhD at the University of Bristol, exploring antibiotic use on UK smallholdings. Claire is now Veterinary Lead of the Pig Expert Group for APHA, where she works to detect, investigate and characterise new and re-emerging pig related threats in Great Britain.
