Claire is the Head of Education at the BSAVA, where she leads a department dedicated to the provision of high-quality CPD and Postgraduate Certificates in small animal practice. Prior to this, she spent 10 years teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and conducting (and supervising) education research. Claire has a PhD in Veterinary Education and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is particularly interested in non-technical and professional skills, especially clinical reasoning and communication. Unfortunately, Claire no longer has any free time, as she has a toddler. However, she used to enjoy painting and playing the ukulele.
