Claire graduated from Edinburgh in 1999 and completed a Residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at Ohio State in 2005. After another year as a clinical instructor at Ohio State, she returned to the UK in 2007, working first at The Royal Veterinary College. Since 2011, she has run a camelid-only referral and consultancy practice and offers courses on Camelid Health to owners and vets. In April 2016, she opened a new camelid-focused facility. Claire is the current President of the British Veterinary Camelid Society and became the first RCVS Specialist in Camelid Health & Production in February 2016.
