Clare graduated from Bristol, and worked for a year in mixed practice, before completing a residency in small animal medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Clare worked in the medicine and oncology departments at the University of Glasgow from 2000 and was awarded a personal Professorship in 2010. She was Clinical Director of the University of Glasgow’s Small Animal Hospital for 6 years and worked within the University’s Oncology service for 11 years. Through Hawk and Dove, Clare provides support to help general practitioners deliver accessible cancer care to pets. She is also an Oncology consultant for Virtual Veterinary Specialists.
