Dan joined Bristol Vet Specialists/Highcroft Referrals in 2021 as Dermatology Nurse, bringing six years’ experience from another small animal referral hospital. He gained the BSAVA Dermatology Nursing Award and an accredited certificate in Animal Nutrition in 2019, followed by an MSc in Animal Nutrition in 2023. In 2025, he became the first and only veterinary nurse in the UK and Europe to achieve a Specialist Nurse qualification in Dermatology. Dan particularly enjoys intradermal skin testing, video otoendoscopy in complex cases, and managing patients with multi-resistant bacterial infections, helping them achieve positive outcomes.
