Debbie Gow

Debbie undertook a PhD in immunology and a residency in veterinary dermatology. She was a Senior Lecturer at The University of Edinburgh until 2022 before joining Veterinary Specialists Scotland as Head of Dermatology to establish a specialist-led dermatology service. Combined with clinical dermatology, Debbie is passionate about dermatology research and participates in Mars Ecosystem collaborations. She is involved in projects to understand the mechanisms of canine allergic skin disease, as well as improving monitoring, diagnosis and management of cases. Debbie was awarded an RCVS Fellowship in 2022, has qualifications in teaching, and completed an MBA with Durham University Business School.
