After a rich career of 30+ years in both private and university emergency practice, Dr. Ava Firth became the full-time Director of Research & Development at Tonisity International (the parent company of DoggyRade), where she and her team develop novel, specific products that support intestinal metabolism and nutrition in both small and large animals. Originally from Ohio USA, she has been a trailblazer in Emergency & Critical Care in USA, Australia and UK. Dr. Firth moved to the UK in 2004 and has contributed significantly to emergency practice in the UK, leading clinical education for Vets Now for 13 years.
