Dr Freddie Corletto
Freddie graduated from Padua Vet School in Italy in 1997. After an internship and residency at the Animal Heath Trust, in 2003 Freddie became Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia and, more recently, became Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for meritorious contributions to clinical practice. Freddie worked as clinical Anaesthetist at the Animal Health Trust, Lecturer at Padua School of Veterinary Medicine, Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge Division of Anaesthesia, based at Addnebrookes Hospital, then moved to Dick White Referrals, where Freddie led the anaesthesia team until January 2023 and run a successful residency training programme based at DWR and Newmarket Equine Hospital. Freddie have recently founded, with some colleagues, Granta Veterinary Specialists, an independent veterinary referral. Freddie has been a board member and President of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and analgesia and holds a part time position as Professor of Practice with Nottingham University. Freddie has co-authored more than 40 publications (H index 22), and spoken at national and international courses and congresses.
